Now available: Part one of the Supporters’ Trust Q&A with Nicholas Randall KC.

Nottingham Forest and the Nottingham Forest Supporters’ Trust are pleased to announce the first part of a two-part Q&A with the chairman of Nottingham Forest, Nicholas Randall KC.

The Trust received a large number of questions from Trust members and the wider fanbase and the most common questions were asked. It should be acknowledged and noted that some questions received were related to individual employees and ex-employees of the club. These exact questions could not be asked due to legal or ethical reasons. However, the broader essence of the questions were still covered in detail.

Part one covers the following areas:

  • How the club has fared on its return to the Premier League
  • The current roles and responsibilities of senior staff
  • Club finances and Financial Fair Play
  • Player recruitment strategy
  • Commercial activities and sponsorship
  • Season card renewals and pricing
  • An update on the Peter Taylor Stand redevelopment

The club indicated that some questions were better answered at the end of the season in a second part of the Q&A because more detail will be able to be provided at that time. This will be filmed and released after the final game at Crystal Palace.

Part two will cover:

  • An update on plans for the Academy
  • Plans for improved facilities at the City Ground
  • Away ticketing plans
  • How the club will build on the success for the women’s team
  • The future of fan dialogue
  • The club’s work in the local community
  • Plans to lower the club’s carbon footprint

We would like to thank the club for the opportunity to conduct this Q&A. Very few Trusts and clubs engage in open and transparent dialogue in this way. We hope you find the first part insightful and if you would like to join the Trust and shape its future direction, please join us.
